Relief you can turn in the light

Carved bronze tile, modelled and rendered at full depth so the piece can be judged — finish, shadow, relief — long before a cutter touches metal.

A cast bronze relief tile lit from a low angle, its carved pattern throwing deep shadow.

Three ways to see it

The same geometry, examined three ways — in the hand, at scale, and on your own wall.

How it is made

Modelled at depth, then cut

Each design begins as a high-resolution relief model — not a picture of a tile, but the actual carved geometry, to the thousandth of an inch. That model is what you turn in the gallery, and it is what the mill cuts from.

Because the geometry is real, the light in the viewer behaves the way light behaves on the finished piece. A valley that reads too shallow on screen will read too shallow in bronze, and gets changed before anything is committed.

Finishes are applied to that same model — patina, brass, copper, pewter, blackened — so a finish decision is made against the piece you are actually ordering.
